Overview

When you visit a Community Health Centre, also known as a Public Health Office, public health nurses and staff offer the following services by appointment:

  • Immunizations according to the Alberta Health immunization schedule
  • Immunization record requests
  • Health education/counselling/support for parents
  • Health assessment and screening to identify health concerns
  • Referrals to appropriate healthcare providers such as physicians and community resources
