FORT McMURRAY — Expectant and new parents are invited to learn more about pregnancy, birth and early childhood resources at an upcoming pregnancy health information fair.
The free Primary Care Alberta (PCA) event will be held Saturday, April 18 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Fort McMurray Community Health Services, 113 Thickwood Blvd.
PCA and community healthcare professionals will be available to meet one-on-one with expectant and new parents to provide information and resources, prenatal immunizations, and answer questions regarding pregnancy, birth and early childhood.
Participants can learn more about routine childhood immunizations, infant feeding and nutrition, infant safety, sexual and reproductive health, pelvic health, mental health, local PCA prenatal education classes, and other PCA and community healthcare services.
Representatives from other local community organizations will also be available to provide information and resources.
